Archivista Tokyo is a spatial installation proposal that aims to showcase various urban activities happening all around Tokyo to celebrate its urbanity. The massive fountain-like installation consists of upcycled papers that are collected from different areas of Tokyo which represents diverse activities of citizens. The structure is designed to be embedded to Shibuya underground tube station in order to create constant interactions between the installation with enormous numbers of passengers. The concept proposal was created for Tokyo Tokyo Festival which the organization coordinates cultural activities across Tokyo in the period overlapping with Tokyo Olympic in 2020.
